Very handy, no need to fumble for a coin or a your key ring to tighten or loosen these mount, just pop and the 'D' and you are good to go. My only caution is that these are slightly thicker than some 1/4" mounting bolts I have and on one mounting plate I have they are just ever so slightly too thick for the plate to be used in it's quick mount. This only occurs on this one very cheap and small quick mount I have, in all other situations these D-rings work fine.
