This product is such a good price and is excellent for product shoots and also dynamic shots for interviews or even a short film. Used this for a client the day after I got it and it went super well.

Buttery smooth, powerful motor, good build quality and the handy pan / orbit bar makes for a confidence inspiring slider.
Packaging - came with a nice carry case and already assembled! The reviews online mentioned that previous version required the motor to be removed before storage, and of course then the belt has to be removed too. Happy to see those small changes made to make life easier.
Build quality - 4 stars - excellent all around BUT the adjustable feet which are ratcheted for load don't have a hard stop, so I can't just swing out the leg. Each leg has to be manually adjusted to the same position. Apart from this niggle, the machining and finish and the carbon slider rails are superb.
Motor - supremely powerful and buttery smooth, it moves the rig in super slow motion at about 90% power. I loaded up the rig with a heavier than normal set up and ran it very slow and it had no issues or jittering. The motor is just fine doing this on the level or even steep angles.
Control - The photographs on the product listing were generic and i thought i was getting a remote to go with the slider. There should be a way for the app to ask for permission to keep the screen on and unlocked when in use. It would have been much better to have incorporated 2 buttons on the motor itself so that you don't need an additional gadget to control what would be a very basic operation.
Even setting A/B points could be easily done with just the additional buttons. Push left / right to go left / right. Press and hold to set point.
The pan / orbit bar works really well and with just some familiarity it's easy to set up the bar so that the correct orbit rate can be achieved.
All up, i'm very happy with the slider despite the mentioned flaws, but i'm confident that these will be resolved in a future version.
