The suction cup is perfect, the magic arm is too flimsy to use for mirrorless or DSLR cameras.I bought a Gorillapod with this and the ballhead it came with worked great in combination with the Neewer suction cup.

VERY solid and sturdy

I’d sooner pull a panel off my car or flip my motorcycle than break the seal of this off from the weight of the camera.However seal breaks quickly when edges are lifted(which is normal) if your gear is expensive I’d suggest getting two and rigging them together or using ratchet strap and bungee cords as backup.
