Tall carbon fiber tripod at an aluminum price, with a head thrown in for free. I'm not sure how Neewer can pull this one off, but I had to buy this for the legs alone (and I married it with another fluid head that had shorter legs). If you don't need tall legs, there are lighter/smaller/maybe even cheaper models available...but for those who need the height, you'll be challenged to find a better value.Obvious pros: price, height, carbon fiber construction, quick release legs, removable spreader and foot pads, padded carry case, and relatively smooth fluid head with adjustments to suit most light/medium weight rigs (FX3, in my case) accessory mounting points with locating pins on tripod collar.Cons: minimum height (folded) is still quite long. Full extension shows some flex with aggressive pan movements and/or heavier rigs with increased drag. Foot pads aren't very well 'padded', nor sticky rubber. Mostly plastic connection points (be gentle). No options for low-mode once spreaders are removed (non-locking lens angle).
This tripod is exactly what I needed to securely hold my video camera, cage rig, and monitor for webinars and recording sessions.
This tripod is exactly what I was wanting. Great build quality, easy to use, and plenty tall enough. Great value for the price compared to other high end tripods.
