I find that using this particular monopod with the feet folded open, along with the buttery smooth pan-tilt fluid head, makes life so much easier and better, especially when recording videos. The feet make this monopod much more stable, and by far, reduces the cameral shake that you can get when recording videos with a zoom lens on monopods without feet.Here are some of the great features that I particularly like: * Its adjustment knobs are very intuitive –easy to figure out * Feet at the base can unfold into two different heights and are very quick and easy to lock into position using fold-down snap locks * The pan/tilt fluid head is very smooth to operate and comes with a quick release plate for your camera. (see video) * The monopod can be positioned to any angle, from standing straight up, to completely horizontal (within 90° range), using simple adjustments. * When it is leaning, the monopod with the feet extended can still be very stable with the use of your hand – see photos * It’s light enough to carry along for photographic excursions - It’s made of aluminium and has a very suitable carrying case with straps * Comes with a hex wrench for tightening and loosening the quick release plate screws to/from your camera (and there is a storage place to screw whichever screw you don’t use for mounting your camera)* The top and bottom can be unscrewed, making the monopod into a trekking pole – very cool! * Great qualityI like the monopod’s carrying handle. This gives you confidence that you are far less likely to drop the monopod while using it. Inside the bag, there is a little pocket, where the instructions are stored.I’ve not found any cons for using this monopod – mine works perfectly! I feel that this monopod is built to last and I’m confident that I will be using it for many years to come. Monopod: Good monopod, it starts to slip at 10-12 kg, almost the double of the specified load. I wish it include a rubber foot to use it as a stand-alone monopod, it would reduce the height, but also the weight.Tripod base: Really nice, it doubles as a dual height table tripod with ball head, just screw it on a small quick release base, and you get a mini tripod.Head: A fluid head with spring return. It works nicely overall. The handle can not really be placed to the left, if you invert it, this plate cannot be reversed and the lock pin will be at the wrong location on your camera, it will be OK for smaller camera, for bigger you may need to buy a different plate. It includes holes to store the extra screw (1/4 or 3/8) from the plate, which is a nice add-on. This is kind of overkill for a cell phone, but if you plan on upgrading, this will be really nice.Plate: Plate is a standard professional plate (Manfrotto I think). The plate includes the hex key for the screw. The rubber grommet is captive and cannot be lost. This may not be the plate you wish to have on your DSLR, I will get either an arcaswiss adapter or arcaswiss/manfrotto universal plate.

I have a well-known professional Italian-made tripod, and I can corroborate that this looks and feels professional. The red color adds a differentiating touch to the tripod.*** The good 👍✅ Overall Quality: The whole tripod is made from thick and heavy metal.At the beginning of my video, you can hear the "click" sound of the incremental lock for the feet. There are three positions for the feet, fully deployed, narrow, and retracted (monopod configuration).As you can see in the second part of my video, the clamps are very easy to operate single-handedly.The attention to detail is really stunning.✅ Safety features: The quick-release plate has two safety features preventing accidental release or displacement of the plate.Again, both safety locks can be operated with one hand, but cannot be triggered accidentally.✅ Versatility: The monopod-tripod feature is such a nice touch! I did not understand it at first, but the tripod feet, once retracted, allow a soft plastic bump to touch the floor*** 👉 Other comments / Heads-up🌐 The carrying bag is very tightly designed. I recommend you practice a few times putting the tripod back into it with the control arm before going out. It took me about 10 minutes to really master it and now, traveling with it is a breeze.Verdict: I think that getting this level of quality at this price point is amazing. I fully recommend it and give it 5 stars.

This monopod comes with a stylish carrying case and tools to attach the removable plate to the camera body. I am impressed by the stability it brings even for the heavy cameras. Build material is of great quality and strength. Overall design is even more impressive.
